ITIL lacks a number of essential elements, such as enterprise architecture and development, which must be integrated into new IT departments, such as DevOps.
The IT4IT reference model arose from an architectural vision that helps define the architecture, combine methodologies and ensure their compatibility, streamline IT processes and workflow in the organization, and support the use of methodologies and tools.
In addition, IT4IT does not place such emphasis on specific processes and procedures. Instead, they try to integrate services into "value streams". IT4IT solves the optimization of any infrastructure in any organization and helps to better connect and manage projects in order to achieve goals.

How does IT4IT relate to the ITIL framework and ITSM?
IT4IT builds on older best practices, such as ITIL, and learns from their inadequacies due to their focus but also to age and the associated change in individual aspects of the IT business.
How can I take The Open Group final exam and get certified?
As part of the training, you will receive a voucher for The Open Group final exam, which you can use to book the date of the final exam after the training. The exam can be taken online or at one of the Pearson Vue test centers.
Note: The exam is part of the training. It is not to be sold separately.
Once you pass the final exam you receive The Open Group certificate.
