Want to see how to apply ITIL 4? How to make ITIL more responsive and more usable? How to work with it in an environment of rapid and unpredictable changes, in which every solution must be deployed quickly and safely?
Since the goal is to experience first-hand new ways of working and experience modern approaches (Agile, Lean and DevOps) in real situations, the course does not require any specific knowledge. All interested parties from the fields of IT Management, IT Operations, IT Development and Sales&Marketing can participate.
Simulation
The entire simulation consists of 4 rounds. Each round is one stage of the mission.
1st round - Project preparation
At the beginning, the team has a standard structure according to ITIL4. You have, among other things, a Service Desk and Second Line Support. The very first action that awaits you is to get an accurate picture of the existing requirements (service requirements) for Mission Control.
You also have to deal with a backlog full of pending Issues from the testing phase. The next task is to submit the requirements to the Development Team, which will work them into their final form. The Service Manager must request the necessary services and agreed KPIs.
Come and experience ITIL in real life Mars Lander scenarios on all 4 wheels!
Business Simulations are interactive workshops in which teams of employees work on challenging issues within a simulated environment. The environment can be the same or a totally different context to the 'normal' working environment. In a simulation each participant will play a role and has specific tasks, responsibilities and authority.
Participants must discuss and agree how they will work together as a team. Business Simulations are facilitated by trainers who provide the team with support and instructions and who also helps the team reflect on their experiences and what they have learned. The facilitator can also help reflect on how to translate the learning points into the participants own working environment. Simulations are played in a number of rounds so that participants can see, feel and experience improvements as the simulation progresses. It is the reflection moments between rounds when people learn and make improvement choices that will have an impact in the next round.
Our business simulations are designed for a group of 8 - 12 participants.
