What is Six Sigma?

Six Sigma is a quality management strategy and process improvement methodology that focuses on reducing variability and eliminating errors in manufacturing processes and business operations. The goal of Six Sigma is to achieve the maximum possible degree of quality and minimize defects to a level that corresponds to six standard deviations from the mean (hence the name "Six Sigma").

Six Sigma was developed by Motorola in the 1980s and later expanded by General Electric (GE). The Six Sigma methodology uses statistical tools and techniques, such as the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) cycle, which provides a structured approach to process improvement.

Are Six Sigma courses accredited?

Yes. The course itself is accredited according to international standards ISO 17024 (Requirements for bodies operating certification of persons), where we are in the position of ATO (Accredited Training Organisation) and the same applies to the issued certificate.

The issuer of the certificate is TAYLLORCOX (certification body) for quality standards according to ISO 17021 (Requirements for bodies providing audit and certification of management systems).

In addition, our legal impartiality and independence as an internationally recognized certification body provides you with a certification that is comparable to all associations and cannot be "disrecognized" in any way.

The certificate has an international level and its use is much wider than any of the listed institutions of interest. The guarantor of the course is a Certified Lead Auditor. Nothing more can be obtained in terms of qualification and competence.

As a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB™) graduate, you also receive an ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification from us in the course price. This already gives you the defacto "bachelor's degree" of Quality Auditor and you can immediately apply for the prestigious ISO 9001 Lead Auditor training.

In this way, you will receive the round stamp of the lead auditor and you can perform internal as well as certification audits, and based on your audit reports, internationally recognized ISO 9001 quality certificates specializing in the SIX SIGMA methodology can be issued.

How does the final exam and certification work?

The final exam can be taken:

a) Online from the comfort of your home.

b) On paper at the TAYLLORCOX campus.

If you are interested, you can purchase additional exam insurance, with which you get a second attempt for free in the event of failure on the first attempt.

The outcome of a successfully completed exam is a prestigious, accredited and globally recognized certificate.
