The CIM certification course is intended primarily for persons responsible for the implementation of the new law on critical infrastructure and for the fulfillment of obligations under this new standard. In practice, the critical infrastructure manager is a kind of intermediary between the top management and the operational level of the organization, especially in the areas of security risk management and crisis management.

The Act on strengthening the resilience of critical infrastructure entities (ZKI) is a transposition of the new European directive on the resilience of critical entities (CER). It will affect several hundred organizations in more than 11 regulated industries and tens of thousands of critical suppliers. 

Due to the professional focus, the course is suitable for:

As part of the MKI course, you will learn how to process a functional risk assessment, how to successfully manage the continuity of an organization's activities, how to manage risks related to physical security, critical personnel and the supply chain. The role is not compatible with the role of internal auditor.

What is ZKI?

The Critical Infrastructure Act is a piece of legislation that establishes a framework for identifying, protecting, and ensuring the resilience of critical infrastructure in the state. This law usually defines what is considered critical infrastructure, determines the obligations of the owners and operators of these infrastructures, and establishes mechanisms for cooperation between the public and private sectors. In the Czech Republic, the issue of critical infrastructure is primarily governed by Act No. 240/2000 Coll., on crisis management (crisis law) and some other related regulations.
