The obligation to establish an internal reporting channel and to deal with whistleblowing reports falls on every business company with more than 25 employees.
The same obligation will apply to every public procurement contractor except for small municipalities. Private companies and public procurement providers will also be required to appoint an employee responsible for checking individual notifications, the so-called competent person.

Whistleblowing is a term used to describe a situation where a person (called a whistleblower) discloses information about unethical, illegal or inappropriate behavior taking place within an organisation, usually a public sector or private business. This person may be an employee, former employee or even a member of the public who has access to confidential information.
What is the Whistleblower Protection Act?
The Whistleblower Protection Act is legislation designed and enacted to provide protection and support to individuals who choose to report illegal, unethical or inappropriate practices in an organization, often referred to as whistleblowers.
The goal of this law is to create a legal framework that motivates individuals to disclose such practices and thus prevents them from possible reprisals or consequences associated with their whistleblowing.
How does the final exam and certification work?
The final exam can be taken:
a) Online from the comfort of your home.
b) On paper at the TAYLLORCOX campus.
If you are interested, you can purchase additional exam insurance, with which you get a second attempt for free in the event of failure on the first attempt.
The outcome of a successfully completed exam is a prestigious, accredited and globally recognized certificate.
