Project Management Methodology (PM2) is an agile project management methodology developed by the European Commission. This methodology is designed to provide a simple and flexible framework for managing different types of projects in a variety of organizations, including the public sector, private sector and non-profit organizations.
The key differences between PM2 and PRINCE2 are their origin, approach and scope of use.
While PRINCE2 is a waterfall structured method, PM2 was developed for wide use in the public sector with a focus on universality and agility.
