Who is the FortiGate Administrator course intended for?
The course is intended for network and security professionals, firewall administrators, and network engineers who manage or will manage FortiGate firewalls in a production environment.
Does the course have any prerequisites?
Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, routing) and a basic understanding of firewall principles is required to enter the course.
Before taking the FortiGate Administrator course, you should have a thorough understanding of all topics covered in the FortiGate Operator course.
Will I be able to manage FortiGate in practice after the course?
Yes. The course focuses on real-life operational scenarios (firewall policies, VPNs, HA, security profiles, troubleshooting) and prepares participants for normal FortiGate administration on a production network.
What certification will the course prepare me for?
The course covers topics relevant to the Fortinet NSE 4 - FortiGate / FortiOS Administrator certification exam and serves as a quality preparation for this exam. However, the certification exam is not included in the course price. The exam must be booked separately through Pearson VUE.
