The course will show participants how such a system works in practice and how to audit it effectively.
You will learn how to establish and maintain a culture of ethics, transparency, and accountability, which is the foundation of trust both within and outside the organization. You will understand how to define a clear anti-bribery policy, how to derive specific processes, control mechanisms, and competencies from it, and how to align these elements with other management systems, such as ISO 9001 or ISO 37301 (Compliance Management).
The course will also show you how to implement practical ABMS measures – from employee training programs, through the creation of a code of ethics and a whistleblowing system, to due diligence processes when selecting and evaluating business partners, suppliers, or customers. You will learn about methods for mapping and assessing corruption risks, creating measures to minimize them, and keeping records to demonstrate compliance with the standard.
An important part of the course is internal auditing of the ABMS system – you will learn how to plan and prepare an audit, how to conduct interviews with auditors, obtain evidence, formulate findings, and evaluate the effectiveness of measures taken. You will learn to correctly distinguish between non-compliance, observations, and recommendations for improvement, as well as how to effectively communicate the results to management.
